About our Trainer

Carissa is certified and has 10 years of experience working with dogs of all breeds and ages. She is passionate about helping dogs reach their full potential and works tirelessly to ensure that every dog receives the best possible care and attention.

Carissa started through a school to work program training only service dogs for special needs kids back in high school, then is a graduate of Animal Behavior College, as well as being a certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator through AKC. She has taken extra classes, seminars, and worked alongside other trainers as well learning as much as she can over the years. She specializes in task training service dogs, including, but not limited to, seizure alert, diabetic alert, autism response, anxiety response, mobility, and PTSD service dogs. She has also trained multiple therapy dogs, ran frequent obedience classes, taught seminars, competes in sports, as well as helping many dogs with behavior issues.
